Thank you for your interest in attending our second annual Equity in Action conference –   a day of inspiring, informative programming especially for ACLU members, community activists and leaders to build our collective power to fight for a more just and inclusive region.

This year’s keynote speaker will be CeCe McDonald. A trans woman of color, CeCe is a prominent LGBTQ+ activist and hate crime survivor. Learn more about her story here.

The conference program will feature provocative workshops, panels and trainings on a range of topics, including:

  • SB 54: Police and ICE Disentanglement
  • Fighting for Housing Equity in California
  • Asylum Status at the Border
  • Nothing About Youth Without Youth
  • Organizing from a Transformational vs. Transactional Approach
