For the first time, the ACLU invited all senior division participants in the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair to apply their interest and skills in science to address the civil liberties dimensions of their work.

We were pleased that a number of students submitted essays wrestling with civil liberties dilemma in their inventions and projects. Three students will be awarded prizes in conjunction with the Center for Ethics in Science & Technology

A fascinating and free forum will follow the awards presentation.
