California is making plans to execute Albert Brown on September 29th at 12:01am, despite the fact that there are three on-going legal challenges to California's lethal injection procedure pending in State and Federal Court.

On Tuesday, Sept. 28, Californians across the state will gather to protest the government's reinstitution of executions, even as three legal challenges are being heard in the courts. Californians will call on state leaders to replace the costly and ineffective death penalty with a responsible alternative: life without the possibility of parole and work and restitution to victims' families.
