Rally to Stop the Stupak Amendment

As part of the national Day of Action to Stop the Stupak-Pitts Amendment, a broad-based coalition of pro-choice supporters will hold a candlelight rally in San Diego to voice opposition to the Stupak Amendment to Health Care Reform.

The Stupak Amendment goes further than any previous federal law to restrict access to safe and legal abortion. It would prohibit millions of women from getting coverage for the full range of legal reproductive medical care in their health insurance plans...even if they pay for it themselves!
